K Mountain VineyardK Mountain Vineyards is Located in the beautiful Similkameen Valley approximately 30 minutes West of the Okanagan valley. While the Okanagan Valley's terrois is based on an elevation of 351 metres (1152 ft.). The Similkameen valley's elevation is 380 metres (1300 ft.) affording it slightly cooler evenings but still maintaining the desert heat for which the area is famous during the summer months. |

Lang VineyardLang Vineyards opened their doors in 1990 and has grown from it’s humble beginnings into one of the Okanagan’s foremost boutique wineries. Guenther Lang and his wife Christina purchased the vineyard when they immigrated to Canada in 1980. Geunther selected the property high up on the bench for it’s excellent soil conditions and microclimate. Additional properties along the bench have added to the overall acreage available to the winery. During the 1980s, most of the hybrid varieties were pulled out and replaced with vinifera varieties such as Auxerrois, Gewutztaminer, Reisling and most recently Viognier. Red varieties such as Pinot Noir, Merlot and Pinot Meunier. The only hybrid variety remaining is the Marechal Foch which remains one of Lang’s most poular wines. In 2007 Lang Vineyards was purchased by Holman Lang Wineries and continues to produce some of the most sought after wines in Canada. |

Soaring Eagle Estate WinerySoaring Eagle wines are produced from hand selected bunches of grapes grown on the Naramata Bench at the three Lang family vineyards. This is truly 'Single Vineyard - Small Lot' production from the oldest winery on the renowned Naramata Bench. Each year, the winemaker will select the varietals based on quality and ripeness. Each wine is the culmination of hard work in the vineyard producing grapes of exceptional quality and finished by an experienced winemaker in the winery. Lang Vineyards has long been recognized for their 'Big, Fruit Forward' wines produced in stainless steel. The Soaring Eagle designation adds a new dimension: the soft touch of oak. Winemaker, Bernhard Schimmeister has created a riper, fuller style of wine using later harvesting, less contact and now barrel aging to enhance but not to interfere with what nature provides. |

Stonehill Estate WineryKeith and Lynn Holman, the owners of Stonehill Estate Winery welcom you to the second winery on the Naramata Wine Route. The red-roofed building, with its profusion of colourful garden beds and hanging baskets, sits just below 9 acres of premium vinyard, including the first planting in BC of Zweigelt in 1997. Future plans include some innovative new products such as Port, sparkling wines and icewines. In the meantime, Stonehill offers a portfolio of well-known varietals such as Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling and of course their famous Zweigelt. |
